“The funds were used towards a major upgrade of our walk-in cooler and to hire a consultant to analyse FDA and all the food banks in the province, in respect to the national standards…. The whole cooler space was upgraded. New panels, monitoring sensors, new door, compressor upgrades… The consultant we hired completed a complete analysis of FDA and prepared a report that includes a series of recommendations….. He also conducted a provincial tour and met with practically every food bank in the province. He provided a report that will be a road map for everyone to make progress with the national standards.”
