Check out the current campaigns that you can get involved with to support food banks in your community!

CP Holiday Train – now until December 18: 

Now in its 24th year, the CP Holiday Train will return this season to raise food, funds and awareness for local food banks in communities along the CP network. The Canadian tour will start on November 24 in Lac-Megantic, Sherbrooke, and end with its final show in Port Coquitlam, B.C. on December 18. Crate & Barrel – now until December 24: 

This holiday season, Crate & Barrel and CB2 are coming together in support of Food Banks Canada. You can donate when you checkout at Crate & Barrel and CB2 locations in Canada. Also, $10 from every sale of Papa Leo’s Pasta Ornament Set will be donated to Food Banks Canada.

American Eagle Outfitters – now until December 24: 

For the third consecutive year, American Eagle is supporting Food Banks Canada to assist those in need. AE will be making a $25,000 donation to Food Banks Canada, and you can join us by making a donation with purchase in all American Eagle stores in Canada from October 8 through December 24.

Loblaw Companies Limited – now until December 24: 

From December 2 through December 24, the Loblaw Companies Holiday Food Drive supports Food Banks Canada. This campaign provides donations of much-needed food and funds to the local food bank community across Canada. Food banks are matched with their neighboring local Loblaw banner stores, where donations are collected at the cash register and food donation bins are available for in-store food donations by customers. 100% of food and cash donations will be directed to the local neighbourhood food bank.

Swiss Chalet – now until December 26: 

For every festive meal sold between November 1 to December 26, $1 (an equivalent of one meal) will be donated to Food Banks Canada — up to 100,000 meals.

Amazon – now until December 31: 

Food Banks Canada is deeply thankful for the generosity of donors like Amazon, as their support makes our work possible. During this peak season of giving, our partnership gets us closer to our goal of providing Canadians facing food insecurity with access to the nutritional food, support, connection and hope they need.

7-Eleven – now until December 31: 

From November 1 to December 31, you can donate by rounding up your purchase or making a donation at the coin boxes in store. Also, on Giving Tuesday (November 29), for every Slurpee sold, 25 cents will be donated to Food Banks Canada in support of local food banks. Participating areas include: Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.

Ketel One – now until the end of December: 

Garnished with good! Between the months of October to December 2022, Ketel One will donate the equivalent of one meal to Food Banks Canada for every Ketel One bottle (except for 375 ml) purchased in participating retail outlets in the provinces of Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec and Manitoba.

Questrade – now until the end of December: 

For every new account opened with Questrade in 2022, one day’s worth of meals will be donated in support of Food Banks Canada.

SSP Canada – now until Jan. 10, 2023: 

From now until Jan. 10, 2023, for every purchase of a Tito’s Bloody Caesar at participating SSP airport bar and restaurant locations in Canada, a donation will be made to Food Banks Canada.

Bimbo Canada – now until Feb. 1, 2023: 

Buy a combination of any two Dempster’s whole grain breads, bagels or tortillas, and Walmart and Bimbo will donate $1 to Food Banks Canada.

Canada Strong Masks – now until April 30, 2023: 

For every order received between Oct. 20, 2022 and April 30, 2023, Canada Strong Masks will donate $1 or one respirator mask to Food Banks Canada.

West Coast Seeds – now until Oct. 31, 2023: 

West Coast Seeds is supporting Food Banks Canada through their signature collection of seeds, with 100 per cent of sales to be donated to Food Banks Canada. You can choose seed packets that include multi-colour sunflowers, mini cucumbers, and an easy-to-grow basil.

McDonald’s Canada – December 12 until December 31: 

The Giving Page is a microsite that turns visits into meals donated by McDonald’s Canada and will run from December 12 until December 31, 2022. The goal is to have 500,000 visits to the page and in return, McDonald’s Canada will donate 500,000 meals to Food Banks Canada.
