I am the Executive Director of the Erickson and Area Food Bank.

Unpredictable
What was your inspiration to get involved in food banking?
I wanted to do something to help others and make a positive impact within our communities.
What is your greatest achievement in your current role?
Building relationships with our clients and the 5 communities we serve.
What is your greatest challenge in your current role?
Having the funding/supplies to feed the growing number of clients we serve.
If you could have one wish granted that would address hunger in Canada what would it be? Nobody would ever have to go without or skip a meal in order to have enough for the next one.
Which talent would you most like to have?
I would love to be able to draw!
If you could tell your younger self advice, what would it be?
It gets better!
Who are your heroes? Fictional or real life.
My grandfather who passed my first day on the job. (I was scared to take this position, and he told me “You will always be scared to try new things if you never take that step”.
What is your idea of happiness?
Being surrounded with my spouse and 4 kids, and people who are genuine.
What is your motto?
Do it because they said you couldn’t.
Something quirky about you that others may not expect or know?
I love karaoke!
