From October 2 to October 12, Walmart Canada launched its first ever national food drive in partnership with local food banks to support families in need. Customers made non-perishable food donations to their local food bank at their Walmart store and Walmart hosted an online Virtual Food Drive.

Starting August 22nd, Breakfast Cereal Canada’s “What’s in the Bowl?” campaign will donate the equivalent of a bowl of cereal to Food Banks Canada for every post shared, with a goal of donating more than 71,000 bowls of cereal.
On August 15th, Quaker’s newest campaign Chewy for Charity will be set in motion for the back to school season. Children throughout Canada will have the opportunity to create their own lunch bags, and for each design submitted, Quaker will donate an equivalent of 10 pounds of food to Food Banks Canada!
