Food Banks Canada celebrates the loyalty and contributions of our donors through our annual recognition program which represents their giving in the previous calendar year (January-December). We are deeply grateful for our donor’s commitment to relieving hunger today and preventing hunger tomorrow.
Thanks to their generosity, we’re able to provide large-scale donations of fresh and non-perishable foods, consumer goods, and financial contributions to the provincial associations, food banks, and agencies that rely on us every day.

Transformational Partners




Food Banks Canada is proud to acknowledge Loblaw Companies Limited as a Transformational Partner who supports our mission through their Feed More Families national biannual food and fund drive. They also contribute to the Retail Food Recovery Program & National Food Sharing System and support our Emergency Food Access and Capacity grants.



Walmart Canada partners with Food Banks Canada and executes an annual Fight Hunger Spark Change campaign in Walmart stores across the country. Since its inception in 2017, the Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign has generated over 100 million meals in support of the food banking network across Canada. Year after year, Walmart Canada’s Fight Hunger Spark Change campaign helps food banks across the national network ensure that our most vulnerable populations have access to safe, nutritious, and sufficient food.
Visionary Partners



As part of its Fill Your Tank program, Enterprise Mobility has made a visionary 10-year commitment through 2026 to finding and advocating for the long-term solutions needed to end hunger in Canada. Their ongoing support will expand our research capabilities, support Northern communities struggling with high food insecurity rates, fund innovation, and allow for the ongoing core work of Food Banks Canada.



Kraft Heinz Canada donates almost 2 million pounds of nutritious food to the food bank network annually that is delivered at regular intervals throughout the year, which means that food banks can rely on a consistent contribution of nutritious, specific food items to serve their community members in need.



Nestle Canada Inc. runs multiple activations across their brands, donating in-kind product, and sponsoring After the Bell since 2019. Nestle is an incredible supporter of FBC. Nestle has also provided their customers the opportunity to give back when they filled out a consumer survey, by donating to Food Banks Canada for every consumer survey completed.



Kellogg’s has supported Food Banks Canada since 2007, donating more than $4 million to support a variety of programs. In addition to funds, Kellogg’s has provided a steady supply of donated products. Kellanova carries on this legacy today by continuing to provide delicious snacks and sponsoring Food Banks Canada’s After the Bell program.

Mission Partners



As one of Food Bank Canada’s longest-standing partners, Egg Farmers of Canada is dedicated to supporting food banks across the country, including remote locations in the north. In 2024, they donated over 3.6 million fresh eggs and almost 2,000 pounds of powdered eggs, ensuring food bank members get this nutritious, protein-packed, and versatile staple.



The Slaight Family Foundation’s support is helping ensure that those in need have access to vital resources. One-third of funds go to food bank grants, including support for northern communities. Another third supports initiatives like turning donated lentils into soup mixes and rescuing surplus carrots. The remaining funds strengthen the Emergency Food Pack program, providing ready-to-eat meals for disaster relief. These efforts ensure efficient food distribution and reduced waste.



Cambell Company of Canada Inc. sponsors our national mission with food and fund contributions across their brands. In addition to participating in Walmart’s “Fight Hunger. Spark Change.” Campaign.
Inspirational Partners




Farm Credit Canada’s (FCC) annual Drive Away Hunger is an agriculture and food industry effort to connect food with the people who need it the most, providing millions of dollars and pounds of food for food banks nationwide. FCC has also contributed more than $3 million to Food Banks Canada since 2003. Their support of our granting initiatives has provided rural food banks with the critical funds needed to better serve their clients.






Subway® Canada is Food Banks Canada’s “After the Bell” program’s Fresh Food Sponsor. Participating food banks receive a grant to add fresh fruits and vegetables to the food packs delivered to children in need throughout the summer. This provides a well-rounded and balanced nutritious food pack. In addition, through their Never Miss Lunch™ program, Subway® Canada helps support kids in need in communities across Canada.




Thomas Large and Singer is a dedicated partner of Food Banks Canada, supporting our After the Bell program annually. Additionally, through their warehousing solutions arm, they donate food that would otherwise go to waste, ensuring instead that it goes to people who need it.

Leadership Partners





Tax clinics supported by KPMG in Canada return millions to low-income individuals in Canada. In collaboration with the network of food banks and provincial associations, and with increased funding and volunteer support from our corporate sponsor, KPMG in Canada, we have doubled the number of free tax return clinics included in the program from two to four and upgraded software to help more people access the benefits they deserve.






Mondelez Canada Inc. sponsors our After the Bell program and activates their support for Food Banks Canada across their brands which contributes to our national mission. In addition to participating in Walmart’s “Fight Hunger. Spark Change.” Campaign, consumers have had the opportunity to make a donation for a limited-edition Cadbury Goodness Bar. Cadbury matched the donations with $100,000, providing 400,000 meals to our neighbours in need.



PepsiCo Canada and its brands are long standing partners of Food Banks Canada. Over the years PepsiCo has run multiple activations across their brands, donating in-kind product for our National Food Sharing System and are proud sponsors of the After the Bell program.
