The good news is that these challenges are not unsolvable. Through HungerCount 2026 and our Poverty Report Cards, we have identified practical, evidence-based pathways to reduce food insecurity, improve affordability, strengthen income security, and build more resilient communities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Budget 2026 takes several important steps forward. We look forward to working with governments and partners to strengthen these investments, close remaining gaps, and advance solutions that reduce food insecurity and improve affordability for all people in Canada. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
