Environ 2,6&nbsp;millions d\u2019adultes canadiens \u00e2g\u00e9s de 20&nbsp;ans et plus vivent avec une cardiopathie isch\u00e9mique, le type le plus courant de maladie cardiaque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous pouvons tous r\u00e9duire le risque de maladies cardiaques auquel nous sommes soumis, en faisant des choix de vie sains, notamment \u00eatre physiquement actif, bien dormir, g\u00e9rer le stress, limiter la consommation d\u2019alcool et manger des aliments frais et sains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Saviez-vous que plus de 40&nbsp;% des aliments distribu\u00e9s par les banques alimentaires canadiennes sont frais?<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019un des principaux objectifs de Banques alimentaires Canada est de mettre davantage l\u2019accent sur la distribution de denr\u00e9es fra\u00eeches et saines \u00e0 l\u2019avenir afin que les personnes qui souffrent de la faim aient une chance \u00e9quitable de vivre longtemps et en sant\u00e9. En fait, 40&nbsp;% de tous les aliments distribu\u00e9s par les banques alimentaires canadiennes sont frais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pour que les banques alimentaires canadiennes s\u2019assurent que la distribution de denr\u00e9es fra\u00eeches repr\u00e9sente 60&nbsp;% de tous les aliments qu\u2019elles distribuent d\u2019ici&nbsp;2025, Banques alimentaires Canada investit dans le r\u00e9seau national de plus de 4&nbsp;750&nbsp;organismes de lutte contre la faim pour assurer une manipulation s\u00e9curitaire des denr\u00e9es p\u00e9rissables et accro\u00eetre l\u2019offre aux personnes touch\u00e9es par l\u2019ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire partout au pays.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces travaux sont appuy\u00e9s par des partenaires du transport et de l\u2019entreposage partout au Canada afin d\u2019assurer un transport s\u00e9curitaire et efficace de grandes quantit\u00e9s d\u2019aliments nutritifs et d\u2019autres articles essentiels offerts par des entreprises donatrices dans les r\u00e9gions o\u00f9 les besoins sont les plus criants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LIRE LA SUITE&nbsp;: <a href=\"https:\/\/foodbankscanada.ca\/food-banks-canada-distributes-over-4-million-pounds-of-p-e-i-potatoes-to-wide-a-peel\/\">Banques alimentaires Canada distribue \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle plus de 1,8&nbsp;million de kilogrammes de pommes de terre de l\u2019\u00cele-du-Prince-\u00c9douard<\/a><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Canadien Pacifique (CP) est l\u2019une des nombreuses entreprises qui offrent \u00e0 Banques alimentaires Canada ce soutien essentiel en nature.
